Los transmisores de caudal SAxx00 están pensados como interruptores de caudal, los cuales dan una indicación del caudal instantáneo aproximado, con una precisión de alrededor del 10%, aunque para fluidos con variación de temperatura, la precisión puede ser peor. Los fluidos para los que esta preparada esta familia de transmisores de caudal con principio de funcionamiento térmico son Agua, soluciones de glicol, aire y aceites. Desgraciadamente son equipos que no está pensados para trabajar con vapores, aunque no se descarta que puedan llegar a medir, pero nunca respetando la ficha técnica. Por otro lado, comentar que IFM Electronic no fabrica transmisores de caudal para vapor. Para cualquier otra consulta estamos a su disposicón.
